Foxtrot Bravo
Foxtrot Bravo is a Swedish/Anglo London-based 5 piece band; originally set-up 2 years ago by Rob Choler (guitarist) and Liv Lyons (singer). From the outset the project received a lot attention and support from the music industry; such as WarnerChappell, Universal, Chrysalis and in particular Sony ATM Publishing.
More recent successes have included being contacted by MTV in the states who licensed their music catalogue as well as using “Lose It” for one of their reality TV shows NEXT.
Foxtrot Bravo has also enjoyed a lot support and successes from interactive music/fanbase internet sites – reaching the showcase final of slicethepie this month out of over 1500 entries, as well as reaching no.10 on the most listened tracks on the newly launched MTV soundtrack site.
Both Rob and Liv have come from well-established music backgrounds; Rob Choler formerly signed to BMG in Stockholm and Liv Lyons has previously worked with Paul Herman (Corrine Bailey-Ray,Dido) Chris Kimsey (Rolling Stones) and Jim Eliot (Kylie Minogue, LadyHawk, Kish Mauve). Rachel Chan (keys), Jumpei (drums) and Matt Round ( bass) completes the line up giving the band its own unique “East meets West” look.
Mid 2007 they were offered a record deal but turned it down in order to continue to concentrate on developing the band. FoxtrotBravo have gigged extensively in London at venues such as 93feetEast, Bloomsbury Bowling Alley, OldBlueLast, Proud Galleries and Hoxtron Bar&Kitchen.
At beginning of 2008 they were invited by producer Edenhed (Robyn, the Caesars, The Sounds) to Cosmos Studios, Stockholm (formerly belonged to EMI) to record their first EP. The project has recently agreed to have a podcast made of them for BMI which will be broadcasted across the UK and US later this year.
