Jedward Want To Apologise

 John And Edward might have angered the entire UK by being the act that sent Lucie Jones packing on last weekends X factor, but let’s face it, it wasn’t their fault… even so, they have begged Simon Cowell to let them address the nation this weekend.

The little Irish twins want to make it clear that it’s not their fault that Lucie left the show and it wasn’t some fix / Irish mafia threat or Simon going deaf in one ear… it was just the way the show goes.

Anyone who watched the show on Sunday would have seen John And Edward fighting to hold back the tears as they saw Lucie Jones’ musical hopes crushed in yet another shock public vote. Public and Vote being the key words here.

Apparently the twins told Lucie; "We feel bad. We're so, so sorry that you didn't get through. We think you're going to have a brilliant career and we hope you won't blame us. The last thing we want to do is upset anyone."

Lucie doesn’t seem to hold any grudges either, saying as she left the X Factor house, "It is not their fault. They were lovely and didn't need to apologise." And we agree with her… they can’t help it, they’re just following their dreams; after all ‘That’s Showbiz’
