John & Edward might keep shocking us after avoiding being booted off The X Factor week after week, but now it seems as though there are rumours circulation that it’s all a fix, orchestrated by Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh! *Gasp*

If the rumour mill is to be believed, the bands mentor Louis, and the man who claims to despise them, Simon, set up John & Edward to win The X Factor months ago, after it was revealed that the twins had been given two auditions.

Whilst the pair had their first audition in London, they appeared in Glasgow three days later, which obviously prompted X Factor fans to assume that there was someone fishy going on.

The bigwigs over at ITV are keen to put the rumours to be though, and said; "There is always a pre-audition. They did this in London and were then asked to audition for the judges. They were given a choice of London or Glasgow. They couldn't make London, so they went to Glasgow."

Ooh-err, this is all getting a bit confusing isn’t it? Do you think the boys could actually win?
