Kavana
Walk into any teenage girls bedroom and you will usually find her walls plastered with posters of the popstars she wants to marry; usually with their perfectly coiffured hair and fake white smiles beaming right back at you.
So we at FemaleFirst have decided to count down the Top 10 Nineties pin up icons, who we were constantly cutting out of Smash Hits and Top Of The Pops magazines and carefully blue-tacking to our walls, school books and mirrors.
Number 7 - Kavana
Kavana first hit the scene in 1996 with his debut single Crazy Chance. While he didn't exactly set the charts alight hitting number 36 he certainly gave teeny boppers up and down the country something to look at.
The next year fared better for Kavana with his debut album been released and two singles "I Can Make You Feel Good" and "MFEO" hitting the top ten. He then spent the next couple of years floating in and out of the charts, unfortunately nearer the bottom end that the number one spot.
The singer then made the obligatory move to LA looking for his big break. He appeared in commercials, the MTV series Undressed, had a publishing deal as a songwriter and in 2005, he appeared in the music video for Mel B's "Today".
In 2006, Kavana played a recurring role in Hollyoaks: In the City and began working with Jools Holland as a session vocalist and backing singer.
His next big move was as a contestant on Grease Is the Word last year. He made it all the way to the final where he was declared runner up.
Also last year Kavana released a new album, Special Kind Of Something - The Best Of Kavana, giving his old fans hope that this may not be the last we see of him.
