Ofcom Investigating Jedward Debacle

Simon Cowell’s shock decision to let the public decide who left the X factor on Sundya night has resulted in a over 3,000 complaints to broadcasting regulator Ofcom.
The row over whether or not Welsh teenager Lucie Jones should have had to give up her place to Irish twins John and Edward Grimes has raged ever since Simon took the competition to ‘deadlock’ on Sunday night, rather than voting off the band he very publicly detests.
Whilst people fume over whether or not Simon did it to ensure the biggest threat to his Over 25’s was voted out or whether he just wanted to ensure he got free publicity for a week, it seems that Ofcom are taking matters rather seriously indeed.
A spokeswoman for broadcasting regulator Ofcom confirmed that complaints had been made and said; "We will assess the complaints against the Broadcasting Code." Ooh, could this see Lucie given a second chance do we think?
The only problem is, it looks as though ‘Jedward’ are slowly becoming firm favourites with the public, despite their rather odd performances - I mean, let’s face it, this is the first time they’ve been in the bottom two.
What would you like to see happen now? Should we bring Lucie back?
