If you’re looking for a single to download this weekend, or just play over and over again on the internet, then for me, the obviously choice is Green Day’s 21 Guns.

Okay, so it isn’t exactly the song to get you in the party mood, but it’s still pretty decent, and there Billie Joe Armstrong looking like a super hot fox in the video (not quite sure why he keeps curling his lips up all the time, but oh well)

Continuing their political tirade against US bigwigs, Green Day prove that they still have what it takes to kick newbie punk rockers to the curb and keep the awesome songs coming from their comeback album, 21st Century Breakdown.

Everyone who reads my music section would know that Green Day and Blink 182 are two bands who shaped my teenage years, and it’s great to see both bands returning to what they excel at, and 21 Guns proves that these foxy fellows still have it but the shovelful. Yumm.

But why take my word for it that Billie Joe is the hottest man alive? Go see for yourself when they return to the UK this October for their first full tour since early 2005, with three dates in London as well as shows in Sheffield, Birmingham and Manchester.
