Madina Lake are our favourite celeb best mates at the moment, and when I heard their new single was on Radio One’s play list I almost fell of my chair!
It’s been such a long time since a great US rock band found themselves happily being given airtime on Radio One and for a band like Madina Lake, who only played Manchester Academy 2 a few months ago, it is the kind of recognition they deserve.
Taken from their album, Attics To Eden, the guys have really pulled off a song that sounds like what would happen if all the successful ’emo’ bands - who just get airplay for their good looks - could actually make decent music.
I guess what I’m trying to say, is that the cute little Madina Lake boys are super hot and they make bloody good music. Music that you can dance to like a crazed lunatic on a night out after far too many vodka’s and still probably go home with a fittie at the end of it.
