Our song of the week today comes courtesy of our celebrity best mates in The Blackout for FINALLY getting some decent music played on Radio One…
As much as Jo Wiley makes me want to launch my radio out of the window from time to time, by always acting like she loves every ‘different’ band, the fact that she is championing baby-faced Sean Smith and co gets her a little gold tick in my book.
Taken from their super foxy new album, The Best In Town - which is amongst my Top 5 Albums Of 2009 - Save Our Selves looks set to be the song that can really knock indie fashion wannabes out of the charts, and get some hard-hitting music back in there.
Despite the fact that a lot of people think they wouldn’t be anywhere without Kerrang! Magazine, after seeing them play at Download Festival 2009 twice, there is little doubt that these boys are amongst the finest things to come out of Wales since Tom Jones’ leather trousers.
