Jon Lee

Jon Lee always had a keen interest in the theatre and when S Club came to an end he was keen to stick to 'what he was good at.'

He signed up to appear in Les Misérables on the West End in 2004 and had the chance to play Marius Pontmercy in the production.

Jon is also set to appear as the voice of Max in an animated version of Enid Blyton's Famous Five as well as making an appearance in an updated version of James Hick's Telstar where he will play Billy Fury.

Bradley McIntosh

Bradley McIntosh decided the stage wasn't for him and decided to take a back seat by moving into production and writing.

However, he slipped off the musical radar until he popped up alongside four other ex-pop stars for MTV's Totally Boyband MTV's Totally Boyband alongside Danny Wood ( New Kids on the Block), Dane Bowers (Another Level), Jimmy Constable (911).

The band took the name Upper Street but failed to make it up the charts as their debut single only reached number 35, and were never really heard from again.

Jo O'Meara

After S Club split Jo O'Meara was forced to take some time out to recover from a serious back condition.

However, she wasn’t going to leave us completely Jo-less as on October 3, 2005 she released her debut solo single, "What Hurts The Most" and album, Relentless.

However, she didn't quite enjoy the same success as she did with her other six band mates as her single only made it to number 13 and her album did even worse - only making it to number 48.

Clearly disappointed over her failed attempt at solo success, Jo, Like Paul, went back to something she knew she was good at - dog breeding. However, she didn't spend too long out of the public eye because in January 2007 she entered the Celebrity Big Brother house for what would become a very eventful few weeks.

Despite the fact that she had hoped to boost her profile on the show (like so many other z-listers) Jo ended up in a race row where she Jade Goody and Danielle Lloyd, took part in racial bullying towards Shilpa Shetty.

After she left the house Jo received death threats and attempted suicide and ever since then she has made no public appearances except at a gala performance for Comic Relief.

Hannah Spearritt

In the week leading up to the split, Hannah Spearritt's agent said that she was in bed with the flu, when she was actually already setting the cogs on her career in acting in motion by heading to LA for her first film role.

Two days after the split, she auditioned for a role in Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London and was successful in landing the role of Emily Sommers alongside Frankie Muniz and Anthony Anderson.

From this point on she had the acting bug, and went on to star in horror franchise Seed of Chucky as well as the BBC's Blessed and independent short film Little Lily, however, he real success didn't come until February 2006, when she landed a lead role in ITV sci-fi drama series Primeval as Abby Maitland.

Despite being loved-up with fellow band member Paul during the band's success, her relationship broke down and she began dating her Primeval co-star Andrew-Lee Potts and moved in with him.

It seems she plans to pursue an acting career rather than take her chance as a solo musician as she has expressed no interest in starting a solo career since the band split.

Rachel Stevens

Saving the best until last, there is little doubt that Rachel Stevens has enjoyed the most success since the disbanding of the group.

Less than a month after the group split, Rachel signed a £1 million record contract with Polydor Records and re-signed with Simon Fuller.

Her first single, "Sweet Dreams My LA Ex", was released on September 15, 2003 and went straight to number two in the UK, similarly, her first studio album; Funky Dory was released on September 29, 2003 and reached number 9.

She went on to release six more UK singles and a second album, but has not released any new material since 2005 and more recently, has expressed an interest in launching an acting career after briefly appearing in Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, as herself in Suzie Gold and in Spider-Plant Man for the Comic Relief 2005 campaign.

However, if you want to watch her strutting her stuff on television it has just been announced that she would be participating in the forthcoming series of BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing.

All in the entire band seem to have done okay for themselves, well; they're not stacking shelves in their local supermarket at least. But as it does seem to be the year for nineties bands to reunite, watch this space.
