Remember that massive tune 'Release Me' which peaked at number three in the UK charts, selling over 900,000 copies worldwide and made a name for Swedish popstar Agnes?

Crowned as the second Swedish Idol on the popular reality show, she looked to make a huge name of herself with the backing of some of the biggest names in the business, but here in the UK we've not heard much if anything of her since the 2009 single smash.

This month she is continuing a tour in her native Sweden, showing that she is managing to still keep her head above the water with new music and a loyal following of fans. Whether she'll continue to stick to her homeland in the future is to be seen, but it looks that way for the foreseeable future.

Her last single was released over a year ago and never received an official music video - a lyric video instead being opted for - could she be planning a major comeback or will this tour mark the end of her performing career?

I for one hope she manages to crawl back out of relative insignificance and make it to the top with another song that takes the world by storm. The ladies of pop music are today struggling for the most part, so a surge of success is expected anytime soon. She needs to grab her surfboard and prepare to ride that wave.
