Alexandra Burke is back, without a label and releasing music independently after a huge hiatus. With the first single from her EP of the same title being released earlier this year, the song now has an official music video - a simple black and white piece that's a far cry from the Alexandra we saw years ago.
Stepping into new territory, the Islington-born star is bringing her talent to a whole new audience with a fresh approach that sees her tackle topics she's not been able to in the past. Turning from singer to storyteller, she's now ready to tell her story, blowing the lid off rumours and proving she still has some brilliant pipes whilst doing so.
Since her rise to fame after winning The X Factor, Alexandra has released two studio albums and two EPs, which spawned six top 10 UK singles and collaborations with some huge names in the industry, including RedOne, Ne-Yo and Stargate. Now she's on a new path and says: "My music, my rules".
