Miley Cyrus

Lea Michele is gearing up to release her first ever solo single and music video, and so we've decided to take a look at some of the greatest music videos in the business.

Michael Jackson - 'Thriller'

Michael Jackson created a short film for his iconic music video, with some of the funkiest dance moves we've ever seen him pull off. Decades on and it's still as watched as ever - the video was even available to rent out from local Blockbuster chains.

Beyonce - 'Single Ladies'

Kanye West was probably right when he said Beyonce produced one of the best music videos of all time, despite his ill-judged timing to make such an outburst. The dance routine saw people around the world get out their cameras and upload their best attempts to the web for the world to see, and the singer used a montage of her favourites on her 'I Am...' tour.

Kate Bush - 'Wuthering Heights'

Kate's debut single was released back in January of 1978, based on the novel of the same title. Not one but two videos were created for the song, which showed off her eccentricity and formed the foundations for what would go on to become a massive and illustrious career.

OutKast - 'Hey Ya!'

A cast of over 100 females go wild as the OutKast members pay homage to an appearance made by The Beatles at the Ed Sullivan Show. Andre 3000 played eight different people in the video, which resulted in him performing the song 23 times during filming. The hard work was praised and the video took home four awards from the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards.

Lady Gaga feat. Beyonce - 'Telephone'

The video's nearly ten minutes long when you view it in full, but it doesn't drag and you're actually left wanting more when it's over. Gaga's always been one to tell a story through her music, and this was one of her biggest projects to-date. Beyonce joined her superstar friend for one of the greatest collaborations om pop history.

Queen - 'Bohemian Rhapsody'

They kept it simple, and it worked in their favour. The music video has been parodied many times, and even featured in the 'Wayne's World' movie, before being taken on by The Muppets in 2009.

Miley Cyrus - 'Wrecking Ball'

It simply cannot be left out, after breaking YouTube records left right and centre and demanding attention from the entire world. Miley saw backlash from stars and the public including Sinead O'Connor, but the video which sees her licking a sledgehammer and riding a wrecking ball in the nude has solidified her position in the world of music today.
