There are some incredible collaborations out there. Britney Spears and Madonna. Queen and David Bowie. Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson. But what about those who haven't collaborated? We got to thinking about some of our favourite artists and how they'd sound with one another, and here are five of our dream collaborations we'd love to see at some point in the near future...

1) Katy Perry and Olly Murs

One of the most powerful singers in the pop industry, Katy Perry has an incredible knack of creating a hit song. Whilst Olly Murs may not be as well known as Katy, he also certainly knows how to tick all the boxes when it comes to pleasing the public with his music, so imagine what a teaming up for these two could do to the charts...

2) Britney Spears and Adam Lambert

Britney is well and truly back in her groove with her latest single 'Make Me...', whilst Adam Lambert is going from strength to strength with gorgeous solo material and an incomparable take on Queen songs when he tours with the surviving members of the band. Together, they'd bring their iconic pop vocals to the forefront in a huge dance number which would be sure to tear up nightclubs everywhere. I'm hearing it right now...

3) Lady Gaga and Eminem

Having already experimented with rap on her album 'ARTPOP' with the song 'Jewels and Drugs', Gaga's next step if she really wants to make moves in this world would be to work with one of the biggest names in the industry - the Real Slim Shady himself. Perhaps Beyoncé can even get involved, following her and Gaga's working together - twice - in the past!

4) Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim

Though they haven't seen eye to eye for some time now, what better way to say 'F**k the haters' than teaming up on something empowering and iconic for women to hear across the world? When so many terrible things are going on, seeing these two powerhouses put their rap talents together would be epic beyond proportion.

5) Taylor Swift and Kanye West

OK hear us out. Imagine the IMPACT? They may still be feuding nearly seven years after Kanye invaded the MTV VMAs stage and swiped the microphone from a 19-year-old Taylor, with Kim Kardashian-West exposing Taylor as a liar on her Snapchat, but when they inevitably make up again, they need to jump right onto a collaborative track. Topping it off with a duet at the VMAs would be the perfect cherry on top.
