Today has seen the official premiere of 'Bang Bang', an exciting collaboration between pop giants Jessie J and Ariana Grande, with the addition of one of the biggest names in the rap business, Nicki Minaj.
What the three have put together is something that can only be called pop magic. Jessie opens the 'banger' with a stellar verse before the hugely infectious gospel-infused chorus kicks in.
Ariana shines and shows just why she's called 'mini-Mariah' with her velvety soft vocals, before a slice of urban is added.
Though Nicki's had a recent release with 'Pills N Potions', the skill she displays here with her rapid spitting of rhymes is exactly what I for one have been waiting for.
Savan Kotecha, Ilya and Max Martin have done a fantastic job on production - is it too early to call this the 'Lady Marmalade' of the modern-day?
All this needs is a live performance with the three all present to become one of the best releases of the year.
'Bang Bang' is out now in America and is expected to be released in September in the UK.
