Madonna is teasing her fans with clips from rehearsals for her upcoming Rebel Heart World Tour, and it looks like the singer will be hitting the headlines for controversial reasons all other again.

The first clip - seen above - features poledancing nuns while the second - below - sees a major dance number use multiple crosses, hinting that the show will be heavily themed with religion.

North America will see the first shows from the Rebel Heart Tour, with Madonna kicking things off in Montreal on September 9 with special guest Diplo.

On October 29 she'll play her last North America date of 2015 before moving on to the United Kingdom and Europe, where she'll bring the show to London on December 1 and 2 at the O2 Arena, before moving on to Manchester on December 14, Birmingham on December 16 and Glasgow on December 20.

The New Year sees Madonna return to North America for a string of new dates before she travels to Australia and Southeast Asia for a variety of dates in February and March.

Tickets are available for most of the shows now at www.madonna.com/tour
