The MTV European Music Awards have today revealed the nominations for this year's awards show, celebrating some of the hottest artists from around the globe.
5 Seconds Of Summer are going up against One Direction whilst Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea also have competition in one another.
Katy Perry landed seven nominationsKaty Perry leads the charge with seven nominations whilst Ariana Grande is close behind with six nods. Pharrell and 5SOS have five noms each with One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Eminem, Sam Smith and Kiesza receiving four.
Fans will decide who wins the Biggest Fans category by tweeting and using Instagram with the hashtag #EMABiggestFans and their favourite artists' names:

Voting for all other categories are live on the MTV EMA website - mtvema.com - including Best UK & Ireland Act which has seen wild card nominee Cheryl integrated into the vote.
