On the cover of the brand new edition of Notion magazine out next week, Ryan Tedder looks better than ever whilst enjoying some of the biggest success in his career.

Not that Ryan's not usually in the public's eyes and moreso ears a lot of the time. He's the mind behind Leona Lewis's 'Bleeding Love', and worked with Adele on her hit record 'Turning Tables' - a very emotional moment in his career.

“After we worked on the song I went back to my hotel room in London and I texted her saying ‘I’m listening to your demo and I’m getting choked up’. She said, ‘I’ve been crying my eyes out for the last 20 minutes.’ We both thought we’d nailed it. It doesn’t matter that it wasn’t a radio hit. In a perfect world, the two would coincide. Most artists would be lying if they didn’t say that was the goal.” he says in the magazine interview.

Ellie Goulding's 'Burn' owes itself to Ryan and of course there's his bands smash hit single 'Counting Stars'.

All that, and Ryan still at one point in his career had considering giving it all up to simply become a producer, leaving the singing behind.

"I remember life being very difficult before that moment [OneRepublic's first hit 'Apologize' and Leona Lewis' 'Bleeding Love']. At that point OneRepublic had been signed and dropped three times and were relying on MySpace to gain a fanbase. The success of 'Apologize' felt like a great equalizer, a big screw you to our old label who said we wouldn't be a success."

Now he's one of the most sought after people in the business due to his meteoric success, and he's still striving to ensure his schedule's one that allows him to work with the best of the best, with Florence Welch one of the few on his select list of artists.

“For three years mine and Florence Welch’s managers have been trying to get our calendars to align. We’re always on the opposite sides of the world. I really want to do something with her – I think we can crack something that she hasn’t done and that I haven’t done. I really think it could be huge.”

Ryan also promises that there's so much more to come, stating "the singles I have coming out in the next three months will make the last three months look silly", and we can't wait to see just what this magician of music has up his sleeve.

OneRepublic's new single 'Love Runs Out' is available for iTunes pre-order now, officially released on July 27.
