R Kelly avoids arrest

Having faced child pornography charges since 2002, R&B sensation R Kelly avoided an arrest warrant being issued for him after failing to show up in court on Wednesday. The singer famed for songs such as My Body Calling and Step in the name of Love, is out on a 45 date tour promoting his most recent album Double Up.

He cited bad weather and issues with Highway patrol men pulling over his tour bus for eight hours the reasons for him missing his day in court. If he appears in court today a new date will be set for the trial.

Remy wont be heading to Europe

Remy Ma wont be touring across the pond any time soon after a Manhattan judge denied her lawyers request for permission for his client to leave the country. The Bronx MC faces charges of assault and intimidating a witness after shooting her once friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph in New York City during the Summer.

The severity of her crimes for which she was granted $250,000 bail have prevented this tour which was said to commence on New Years Eve in Paris from going ahead. Counsel for Ms Martin indicated that 'she has been unable to book shows here in the US and would make approx $35-40,000 from this tour, which she really needs right now.'
