In today's daily rap we see Kanye West arrested and charged for righting with the paps, Jermaine Dupri finds himself in hot water, Estelle gets nominated for five Mobo awards and a study has found that people who listen to hip-yop are more outgoing than any other music fans.

Kanye Arrested and Charged

Not necessarily a rapper you see in the headlines for altercations with authorities unless of course it is the President of the US, but Chicago rapper Kanye West was arrested at LAX airport yesterday.

Kanye who was heading from Los Angeles to Hawaii was snapped and pestered by paparazzi with whom he scuffled and then broke the camera.

Gossip site TMZ were also present at the time and were recording the incident which then resulted in Kanye’s associate and body guard Don C grabbing the video camera from them too.

Both the rapper/producer and his bodyguard were arrested and charged with felony vandalism, previous charges of battery were dropped and released on $20,000 bail.

Kanye is currently working on his fourth album which is slated to hit stores just in time for the Christmas rush which he announced at the VMA awards in Los Angeles last weekend.

Jermaine Dupri in hot water

Producer and mogul Jermaine Dupri found himself in hot water this week after he was names in a quarter million dollar defamation suit filed by Aika Kendrick.
