Kanye West seems to have his finger in a lot of pies at the moment, but now he’s planning to expand his resume even further by becoming -wait for it - a movie star.

Now I know his concerts are filled with performance and charisma, but whether he can deliver that onto this big screen is anybody’s guess, but it looks like director Spike Jonze is willing to take that chance.

The short film will see Kanye putting his acting skills to the test as well as - shock horror - feature his new single, See You In My Nightmares. Shameless self-promotion there Mr West?

Before he became a filmmaker, Jonze directed a clutch of the most iconic music videos of the last two decades including Weezer's Buddy Holly and It's So Quiet by Bjork as well as Kanye’s Flashing Lights promo.

So if anyone can make an actor our of Kanye, it’s Spike!
