In today's Daily rap Akon prepares for May album release, TI to exec produce TV show, Snoop has other write for him and date for funeral of Juveniles' daughter set.
He might have been caught up in some controversial moments recently, but Akon is never too tied up to record. His third album is set to hit shelves in early May and is titled 'Aquitted."
The first track off the album is speculated to feature Michael Jackson who just recently re-released his global masterpiece Thriller, twenty five years after it originally hit the charts. Akon worked with Jackson on the re-released version of the album on Wanna be Starting Something.
This album will follow up the singers sophomore multi platinum album Konvicted which was released in 2006.
He might be on house arrest but that doesn't stop TI from putting in the hours. He is on board to executive produce a reality TV show about a young producer called Mars based on the West Coast who devoted his life to music as opposed to the church like his family expected. The 22 year old beatsmith has produced tracks for the likes of Snoop Dog, Jay Z and Lil Wayne.
The show which is titled Life on mars is currently being shown to major networks in the hopes of finding a home for it.
As music fans await Snoops Ego Trippin, his tenth studio album since he came onto the scene in the early nineties, fans might be surprised to know that on this project the West Coast icon has had others write for him.
Not afraid to confess to the fact the rapper disclosed in a recent interview that his recent chart topper Sensual Seduction was actually written by a friend of his called Shawty Red. Ego Tripping is said to hit stores on March 11th
The four year old daughter of rapper Juvenile who was shot dead along with her Mother and elder sister by her brother will be buried on March 8th in Charleston South Carolina. There is still reason for why 17 year old Anthony Tyrone Terrell shot the three females at the family home in Georgia last week. Fellow rappers have come out o support the New Orleans born Juvenile at this time.
Miami based femcee Trina said in a statement "my prayers are with him at this time and may God continue to give him strength to deal with such a terrible loss. This is devastating for such a beautiful family all gone too soon!"
