In today's daily rap we see DMX rushed to hospital, Grand Hustle taking over management of Big Boi, Beyonce is exposed as the second biggest earner in the music industry and we get the latest updates from camp 50 Cent.

DMX Rushed to hospital

Rapper DMX was rushed to hospital on Monday in Florida with reports of a suspected stroke.

The rapper who has been in and out of trouble over the last four years is said to be well but was unable to appear in a Phoenix court yesterday to face charges of theft stemming from using another mans identity and social security number when being treated in an Arizona hospital last year.

DMX was arrested and held in jail in Miami last month after being arrested for failing to appear in court to face various other charges including animal cruelty, drug and driving offences.

Grand Hustle to manage Big Boi

One half of Outkast, Big Boi is putting his solo career in the hands of Grand Hustle the company established by fellow Atlanta rapper TI and associate Jason Geter.

Geter will be working as manager with Big Boi and he hopes that once the next big single from the rapper is identified, he will be heading out on the road to continue establishing relationships with fans.

Outkast are still expecting to release another album but not until both Big Boi and Andre 3000 have worked on their own solo projects.

The last album the duo put out was the combination of two albums Speakerboxxx/The Love Below which was certified diamond by the RIAA, meaning over ten million copies sold and shipped.

Beyonce one of biggest paid entertainers

What doesn�t Beyonce have? She has the looks, the life, the voice, the wardrobe and after money magazine Forbes ranked her as the second highest paid entertainer last year.

Beaten by UK trio The Police who reformed last year after a twenty year split to go out on tour, Beyonce amassed $80 million last year alone.

And you can guarantee she will be up on that list again next year as she releases her third solo album this year in November.

As of yet the album remains untitled but it has been speculated that the bulk of the production on the album will be down to Timbaland, a favorite producer of Beyonce�s husband Jay Z.

50 update

In his usual flamboyant style 50 Cent will be releasing a movie to go along with his new album Before I Self-Destruct on December 9th this year.

The movie which is not autobiographical will contain an original score which the Queens rapper has worked on separately from the actual album.

50 who is currently starring on the silver screen with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in Righteous Kill which will be released in the UK on Friday will also direct and produce the movie which is of the same title as the album.

A week after will see Kanye West release his fourth album which will see 50 go up against Kanye for a second time when it comes to sales.
