Pete Doherty Arrested On Drug Charge

Seems that Pete Doherty really is in Wastelands - that’s the name of his new album FYI - after he was found slumped in the toilet of a British Airways jet on his way to Geneva.

Now, we all know that Pete has had his fair share of run-in’s with the law (and drugs for that matter) but this one takes the biscuit after he was found collapsed in a toilet with a hypodermic needle close by.

Needless to say, Pete got more of a welcome than he might have liked upon his arrival into Switzerland, as the Swiss police met BA730 from Heathrow when it touched down.

Luckily for Pete though, he was released in time to play the Neuchatel Open Air festival and isn’t going to let this latest bump in the road dampen his musical spirits as he’s already back in the UK and rehearsing for the Camden Rocks Festival.
