Wires - Shadows

Wires - Shadows

The release of Wires second EP Shadows is a welcomed sight. The band have grand, yet realistic expectationsand expect nothing less than surpassing the high praise heaped upon their debut, To Conquer The Waves, where the likes of Punktastic described them as "astonishingly accomplished and BBC Introducing simply proclaimed, 'beautiful'.

When a band cite the likes of Thrice, The Dear Hunter, Death Cab For Cutie and French composer Erik Satie as influences the results you may conjure are undoubtedly pretty special and Wires do not disappoint.

Bringing forward their unique blend of haunting melodies, thoughtful guitar parts, honest heartfelt lyrics and driving rhythm section, the product of a vast amount of time and effort, both in the practice room and on the stage, is the sincere, challenging and ultimately uplifting forthcoming EP, Shadows.

Their live shows are a testament to their commitment and hard work as they provide a brilliant representation of what the band is all about.

They have played notable support slots alongside Royal Republic, Less Than Me and The Heartbreaks and they will be getting back out and about in support of Shadows, so make sure you catch a date.
