Hotly tipped Scottish band Broken Records release their third single ‘Lies’ on Distiller Records on November 3rd.

‘Lies’ is released on limited 7” and digital download. The b side is the unreleased track ‘Travelling Songs’.

Since forming at the end of 2006 Broken Records have quietly been causing a stir, firstly with their self released EP which they sold at gigs and subsequently with their first two limited singles ‘If The News Makes You Sad, Don’t Watch It’ on Young Turks, and ‘Slow Parade’ on The Fandango Label

They have been tipped for greatness by as varied publications as NME, The Guardian, Drowned in Sound, Sunday Times and The Times and, as they continue recording their debut album, are in the enviable position of attracting interest from a wide selection of record companies.

The band will be playing a number of dates in November:

November 1st - The Bongo Club, Edinburgh

November 15th - SWN Festival, Cardiff

November 22nd - Crossing Border, The Hague
