Pulled Apart By Horses - Epic Myth

Pulled Apart By Horses - Epic Myth

Marking the end of an incredible year by releasing the deluxe version of ‘Tough Love’ this coming Monday 10th of December (Transgressive Records), Pulled Apart By Horses wish you Merry Christmas, ‘Horses style, with a new video.

"Well it has been one hell of a year for us and we're knee deep in writing now and looking forward to next year" explains guitarist James Brown.

"One of the highlights was opening the main stages at Leeds/Reading this year which I don't think we still quite believe happened.

"The video idea for ‘Epic Myth’ seemed a great way to celebrate Tough Love and the final single from it, even if we all did have the worst collective hangover ever after! Happy Christmas Everyone!"

Whilst it’s true to say the phrase ‘critically-acclaimed’ is often thrown about by any band that comes within even a whiff of a semi-decent review, ‘Tough Love’, the second album by hard-rocking Leeds quartet Pulled Apart By Horses released in January of this year is truly deserving of those two words and the proof is in the smattering of press quotes above.

It’s been a fantastic year for the band; on top of the phenomenal response to ‘Tough Love’ (produced by Gil Norton of Pixies and Foo Fighters fame, among others) and unprecedented support from Radio 1, 6 Music and XFM, the band embarked on sold-out tours and were met with a rabid response at festivals across the summer - their mainstage performances at Reading and Leeds proving to be a particular highlight.

"Welcome to the Tough Love sessions! We've had a monumental year and would like to celebrate it by bringing you a collection of rare and unreleased tracks so you can delve deeper into the world of Tough Love," explains drummer Lee Vincent.

"We're very proud to bring you all our b-sides (including those from our debut album), demo's from the Tough Love writing sessions - recorded and mixed by our Rob in a dirty basement in Hyde Park, Live session tracks and even a very special live cover recorded on our European tour. Enjoy!"
