following an amazing 2006, The Automatic will launch into 2007 with the release of a new single, Raoul, on 8th January 2007. Originally released in April, Raoul is taken from the bands gold selling debut album Not Accepted Anywhere, which has clocked up 200,000 sales to date. The Steve Harris-produced single, available on two CDs and 7 inch vinyl will come backed with a superb collection of b-sides, including remixes, live versions and exclusive new tracks.CD1 features the bands now infamous take on Kanye Wests Gold Digger. The track has become a huge live favourite, and their show stopping live version of the song from the Leeds Festival also appears on the 7 single. It also features Fatboy Slims remix of this summers huge anthem Monster which is currently planting its mammoth footprint on dancefloors across the country. The remix came about after Norman Cook played a bootleg of Monster in front of 25,000 people at Lock Ness at the start of summer and then approached The Automatic about a remix swap. The band were happy to oblige and returned the favour with a punky, skanky version of the Fatboy classic Rockerfella Skank which features on his current single The Champion Sound. CD2 also features brand new track, Easy Target which is currently the bands live set opener.
