Don Broco

Don Broco

1.  What are you doing for Christmas this year?

We're going to be chilling out at home with our families eating a shed loads of ferrero rochers

2.  What would you buy us as a cool present?!

An extra special Don Broco massage token to cash in at any show on our February tour!

3.  What would you like to find in your Christmas stocking?

True Blood Seasons 1 & 2 Box Set

4.  What's your favourite Christmas memory?

As a young lad, opening up a present to discover I'd been given The Lion King videogame on the Sega Mega Drive, which could only mean the big box I was yet to open had to be a Mega Drive! I was ecstatic!

5.  What's your favourite festive song or carol?

The other day I heard Plan B do an incredible cover of In The Bleak Midwinter, though its got to be the classic Mariah Carey All I Want For Christmas Is You. Timeless!

6.  What's the best or worst Cracker Joke you've ever heard?

Worst : Why was Santa's little helper feeling depressed? He had low elf-esteem

7.  Sprouts - delicious or evil?

Delicious! If they're done right, par cooked then gently fried in olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper then they are a real treat!

8.  In a Christmas fantasy land - who would be the famous figures, past and present, at your dinner table and why?

Well as its Christmas and all I think it would only be fair to invite the birthday boy himself, so would definitely have Jesus along. I'm sure he'd be pretty interesting and would be great to ask him how everything really went down back in the day. Marlon Brando would definitely be there bringing the party, and I reckon Vinnie Jones too because he seems like a good laugh.

I'm currently loving a bit of Helen Mirren at the moment so she'd come and give the whole thing a touch of class, though would probably end up copping of with Brando. Michael Jackson is another must, he is probably the greatest performer that ever lived and the things that he went through in his life were extraordinary. I'd also have George W. Bush along for a bit of light relief and if conversation ever ran dry the rest of us could take the piss out of him.

9.  Again, in fantasy land or in reality - who would you like to grab under the mistletoe?

Oooo I've had a crush on Marina from Marina & The Diamonds all year so its got to be her!

10. What would your perfect Christmas look like and would there be snow?!

O yeah, loads of snow! Its the only day when snow should be allowed I think. Big Christmas tree (real), loads of presents, a roaring fire, your best friends and favourite family members (and one or two you don't like because that's always the way) and plenty of food and drink!

11. Who will be Number One in the Christmas chart (real or fantasy) ?!

Well I already know now its X-factor's Matty C (it seemed to happen so early this ear!) But would have loved if Biffy Clyro had got it with their original of the song Matt covered. They're my favourite band of all time!

12. Favourite Bond Film?

Goldeneye, though Moonraker is a close second down to its sheer preposterousness!

13. What have been the highlights for you from 2010?

Getting to play a few of the summer festivals this year was a dream come true! Sonisphere and Underage Festival weekend were the best few days I can remember!

14. Any New Year's resolutions?

Be more spontaneous, its the only way to live!

15. What is 2011 going to look like for you?

On February 14th (Valentines Day!) we will be putting out our debut release 'Big Fat Smile' which we're massively excited about, and touring the rest of February at some amazing venues in support of it. The rest of the year we'l be doing a lot more touring as well as starting work on our album so it'l be a very busy one!
