Train

Train

It’s fair to say that Train will probably always be known as the band who sang ‘Drops Of Jupiter’ - one of the finest songs ever released - but with a new album on the go, the band have taken a little time out to answer the 15 questions we ask everyone. I think I love them a little bit you know… I sing the title track, Save Me San Francisco  - SO loud in the car.

Hello there little monster, what are you up to?

Sitting in my London Hotel, listening to the band AIR, sipping a coffee, and doing your interview.

So, tell me a bit about what you’re here to promote?

Our new record "Save Me San Francisco" and in particular our singles, "Hey Soul Sister" and "If It's Love"

And if we didn’t have any clue as to who you were, what three words sum you up?

 HIT-MA-CHINE

And as Jacko had the Moonwalk and Elvis had the snake hips, what do you have that makes you unique?

Sexually ambiguous dancing.

Now, clearly we need to get to know each other more, so tell me an interesting fact about you that noone else knows?

I recently shaved my whole body.

What song do you wish you’d written?

The Star Spangled Banner.

If I was contemplating coming to your show or sitting at home and TV, how would you convince me to come out?

You'll burn more calories at a Train concert.

And if you were to take me on a trip to your hometown, what would be the first place we’d go?

To my hometown.

Who was the last person you called / text and what for?

My family. I told them that I'm living a blessed life and that I love and miss them.

If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?

I'd bounce around Manhattan on Hippity-Hop wearing the standard super hero garb of a cape, spandex, and mask beating down criminals by closing my eyes and franticly slapping them.

If you had to date a member of the same sex (or opposite sex if the case may be) who would it be? Mine would ALWAYS be Angelina Jolie.

Alessandra Ambrosio (This is Scott the drummer in case you know her, and want to let her know I'd be a loyal and loving servant of her)

What was the last thing you bought?

The coffee I'm currently drinking.

Have you ever been arrested?

Not yet.

Speaking of prison - if you were to send someone to prison for crimes against music, who would it be?

Rolling Stone magazine.

What were you doing last night at 11?

Watching my crew get drunk at the Crow Bar in London.
