Stars and Rabbit

We got chance to have a quick chat with the pair to find out more about their music, their inspirations and more! Read on to find out what they had to say…

For those who may be new to your music, how best would you describe your sound?

Elda: Imagine you are driving in the night, looking for a place - a paddy field in my case - to just sit and get swayed by gazing into the stars and rabbit on the moon.

How difficult would you say this career path is in terms of making a name for yourself?

Adi: Not everyone is able to choose this path, as many of them give up and pick the other [ones]. I took this path because I believe in what I can do.

How important is it for you to have creative control over the work you produce?

Elda: For me, the important thing is more of how to maintain [creativity]. To get unstuck when [your creativity] blocks.

Where do you draw influence and inspiration from for your work?

Elda: Everything that catches my eyes, my ears, my mind and my heart at one time. While reading a book, or watching movies or listening to music that gives me shivers, or simply being in nature.

If you could collaborate with anybody going forward, who would you choose and why?

Adi: I hope that I could collaborate with Johnny Depp because he's a great actor and he has a very good musical taste, so I want to create something with him.

Elda: Sonia Mandeville from Soul Pancake. She's a burst of creativity and is crazy talented when it comes to making video. She's a friend of mine.

Do you have definitive aims or goals for your career?

Elda: To do some touring worldwide. Spreading the magic everywhere.

Where do you hope to be by this time next year?

Adi: Creating new music for Stars and Rabbit and perhaps, opening a coffee shop.

What should we expect from you in the coming weeks and months?

Adi: Good news from the UK tour!

New single 'Man Upon The Hill' is released on November 11 via Green Island Music.
