Abba Reunion Talk Sparks British Betting Frenzy

News suggesting Abba star Agnetha Faltskog is keen to reunite with her Mamma Mia! bandmates for a series of special concerts have sent Britain's bookmakers into a frenzy.

Oddsmakers at William Hill are accepting bets on the band performing at the Glastonbury festival this summer (11) and superfans are putting money on the band playing as part of Prince William and Kate Middleton's spring (11) wedding celebrations.

Meanwhile, British bookmakers have slashed the odds of Abba landing a number one this year - from 201 to 51.

In an interview published last week (ends31Dec10), Faltskog said she would consider getting back together with her three former bandmates at least for one-off gigs.

She said, "I could see us doing something together in the future. It is just a feeling I have that it would be fun to get together, talk a bit about the past and maybe perform together".
