Adam Lambert Denies Glee Appearance

Pop star Adam Lambert has dismissed rumours he's set to appear on hit U.S. TV show Glee - because he'd rather land a role in vampire series True Blood than exercise his vocals on the musical programme.

Lambert, who found fame as a runner-up on TV talent search American Idol, was said to be following in the footsteps of singer Josh Groban as a guest star on Glee.

But he has shot down the reports. In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Glee guest star rumour: it's a rumour. Sorry guys."

However, Lambert is hoping to be offered a role on a couple of different small screen shows.

He adds, "I'd loooooooove (sic) to be on True Blood. Or Weeds."
