He keeps slipping in and out of consciousness, so we have barely been able to speak."I watch every flicker of his eyes to see how he's doing and he seems to be getting a bit stronger. But the doctors say he's going to need constant care for at least eight weeks".
Police are still searching for a 28-year-old male who they believe to be the main suspect.
