GALLAGHER COMPLIMENTS AMERIER&B beauty AMERIE was left red-faced when OASIS frontman LIAM GALLAGHER told her how much he enjoyed her music, because she had no idea who he was.The 1 THING singer had just finished recording a performance for UK TV chart show CD:UK, broadcast by the ITV network, when Gallagher temporarily ignored his reputation for insulting people and paid her the rare compliment.She recalls,"After I had performed, this guy came up to me, unshaven and wearing shades, and told me how much he liked my record."I had no idea who he was, so I asked him.
