We have all been crossing our fingers, hoping that Amy Winehouse would return home and cause more chaos in the UK, but it would seem that she is turning her back on her native England to set up home in the Caribbean.

The troubled star, who swanned off to St. Lucia earlier this year - supposedly to battle her drink and drug demons - enjoyed a long break there before returning to London in March.

However, she spent just 33 days back in the capital before heading back to the paradise island, and now Winehouse is keen to call St. Lucia home - she's looking to buy a property to live there permanently.

A source tells Femalefirst; "Amy is fed up with all the stress and trauma that comes with being in London. She has made so many friends in St. Lucia and says it feels like home. When she returned to the U.K. in March she felt like a total outsider.

"She has her heart set on one house in particular. It is massive, right on the beach and has its own big garden, too."

Oh Amy, we’ll miss you!
