Antony Costa is desperate for Blue to reform.
The singer admits he would love to see the boys - himself, Lee Ryan Simon Webbe and Duncan James - get back together.
He said: "I'd like to think it could happen. We wanted to take time out and do out own thing, but it would be good to be like the Backstreet Boys - you know, go our own ways for a few years then come back together and make a new album."
Despite not having seen each other for months, Antony says the four former band mates still keep in touch regularly on the phone and are close friends.
He added to Britain's Funday Times: "I haven't seen them for a few months but we keep in touch either by phone or text message.
