Ex Bay City Rollers Boss Cleared Of Drugs Charges.Former BAY CITY ROLLERS manager TAM PATON has been cleared of supplying cannabis by a Scottish court today (23JUN06).The 67-year-old was accused of pushing the drug from his luxury home in Edinburgh, Scotland between November 2003 and February 2004 after a police raid discovered two kilograms of cannabis resin and £2,000 ($3,600) in cash in his bedroom.However, after a trial lasting just four days, the jury at Edinburgh Sheriff Court returned a not guilty verdict.Speaking outside court, Paton, who always maintained his innocence, said, "I just want to live a quiet life and be left alone."I am just too pleased - I am really delighted.
