Babyshambles were forced to pull out of a planned festival appearance after Pete Doherty failed to show up.The troubled singer missed his flight to FM4 Frequency in Salzburg, Austria after opting to travel separately from his bandmates, Mik Whitnall, Drew McConnell and Adam Ficek, forcing the rest of the 'Killamingiro' rockers to cancel their show, despite opting to perform without him in past instances of him missing concerts.Adam released a statement expressing regret for the cancellation, saying: "Drew, Mik and myself can only apologise to those who came to see us today. "Peter has missed the flight, we are in Salzburg, with no Peter. We will head to the festival and apologise on stage."Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that all four members of the band are to contribute to a new book.Adam told BBC6 music: "I spent all of last night just trying to get the final interview with Peter done. Everyone else has been interviewed. So this is the final interview. We finished with Peter last night. Its good and it should be out in November,"He went on to explain that the book will not focus solely on the troubled frontman, despite the amount of attention he receives.
