Barack Obama might have made history becoming the first black President of the USA, but I imagine he will be over the moon to hear that he has inspired his very own musical, set to open in London some time in March.

Obama on My Mind will chronicle the former Senator's journey to the White House, and the efforts of his campaign managers to get him there.

Playwright Teddy Hayes' production features hard-hitting political commentary and pop, gospel, jazz and Motown-esque soul.

Obama became the 44th President of the United States on Tuesday, and the citizens of the US are counting on him to return their country to some form of normality.
