Bay City Rollers Singer: 'i Was A User, Not A Dealer'.Former BAY CITY ROLLERS singer LES McKEOWN yesterday (30JAN06) told England's Basildon Crown Court he was a cocaine user but never dealt the drug.The BYE BYE BABY star is charged with conspiring to supply cocaine alongside his former bandmate PATRICK McGLYNN and accomplice ALISTAIR MURRAY in May last year (05). All three were arrested a month later (JUN05) during a police raid on a house in Essex, England.McKeown, 50, allegedly told police the cocaine, found in a till receipt in his wallet during the raid, did not belong to him and was planted by arresting officers.McKeown denies having "anything to do with supplying cocaine", adding, "I have taken it - maybe two or three times a year."The prosecution believes McKeown set up a deal between McGlynn and Murray and another man.
