Beyonce's Dad Ordered to Pay Child Support

Beyonce's music mogul father has been ordered to pay $8,200 (£5,125)-a-month in child support for his alleged lovechild.

Alexsandra Wright claims Mathew Knowles is the father of her two-week-old son, Nixon, and her lawyer was in court in Los Angeles on Tuesday (16Feb10) asking for financial support.

However, the support might be temporary - Knowles will take a Dna test on 1 March (10) to determine paternity.

In the meantime, he has been told to pay up and the order has been backdated to the beginning of February (10).

Knowles must also pay all of Wright's uninsured medical costs, according to Tmz.com.

The mother claims her son was conceived during an 18-month affair with Knowles.

The music manager has yet to confirm he's the child's father, but he gave Wright $10,000 (£6,250) in January (10) to cover her immediate medical costs.
