Jay-Z Overwhelmed By Beyonce's 'greatness'

Jay-Z felt he was in the presence of "greatness" as he watched his wife Beyonce warm up for her performance on American Idol on Wednesday (25May11).

The rapper recorded footage of the pop superstar singing in her dressing room as she prepared to take the stage for the music contest's finale.

Jay-Z was so impressed with what he saw, he posted the clip on his LifeandTimes website and wrote a gushing message about his talented wife.

He writes, "Sometimes you need perspective. You've been right in front of greatness so often that you need to step back and see it again for the first time. This is the dressing room rehearsal for American Idol. No microphone. No effects."
