Biffy Clyro Are THE Scottish Band of The Decade

My favourite band ever, Biffy Clyro have topped a poll to find the best Scottish band of the last decade.

The trio, who hail from Kilmarnock in Scotland, saw off competition from Franz Ferdinand to land over 35 per cent of the votes in the poll, which was conducted by The Scotsman newspaper.

Franz Ferdinand, whose first two albums were certified platinum in the U.K., were named runners-up with 13 per cent, while acclaimed indie act Frightened Rabbit came in third.

Other Scottish bands to appear in the top 10 survey include Travis, Mogwai, The Fratellis and Belle & Sebastian.
