Billie Joe Producing Sons Debut

  Billie Joe Armstrong is helping his rocker son’s career by being one of the producers for his bands album.

The Green Day’s front man is helping his sons band Emily’s Army to produce their debut album.

Drummer Joey, 16, set up the band with his friends Travis Neumann and Max and Cole Becker and the band was quickly signed up by Billie Joe’s record label Adeline Records.

The album is to be called Don’t Be a D**k and is going to be released in June.  

He tells Spin.com, "The record has a lot of youthful punk rock attitude. They're raw. It's well played, has great hooks and is catchy as hell."
