Icelandic pop star Bjork has loaned her name to a venture capital fund focused on "incorporating feminine values into the world of finance".The outspoken singer has partnered with financial services firm Audur Capital for the venture.The company will put $832,000 (Gbp543,790) into the fund to invest in sustainable businesses that create value using Iceland's resources, nature, culture and green energy as leverage.Bjork tells Icelandic daily Morgunbladid: "It's a great honour to have (the fund) named after me".An Audur Capital spokesperson adds: "The fund is intended for investors seeking investment opportunities in new venture creation and business development of small companies with the objective of fuelling the recovery of the Icelandic economy".0Comments | Be the first to comment!
