The Malaysian government has lifted a ban preventing Muslims from attending an upcoming Black Eyed Peas concert.
The Boom Boom Pow hitmakers are due to perform at a theme park in KualaLumpur on 25 September (09) as part of Irish alcohol giant Guinness' 250th anniversary concerts.
But because the gig is sponsored by the drinks company, officials placed a ban on Muslims attending as Islamic law prohibits the consumption of alcohol.
Muslims cannot attend. Non-Muslims can go and have fun
An official at the Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture previously said, "Muslims cannot attend. Non-Muslims can go and have fun".
Now the decision has been reversed and Muslims will be allowed to watchthe Where Is the Love? stars perform - although no explanation has been given for the U-turn.
