Dylan's Teenage Poem Up for Auction

A poem Bob Dylan wrote when he was unknown teenager Bobby Zimmerman is tobe auctioned off in New York.

The hand written musings, penned in the mid-1950s for a camp newspaper in Wisconsin where Dylan spent a happy summer, is titled Little Buddy.

The poem, which is currently under offer at Christie's, tells the sad tale of a family's pet dog beaten to death by a drunk.

The item will be on the auction block until 23 June (09).

Experts expect the eventual price for the poem to reach $15,000 .

The heartfelt poem begins "Broken hearted and so sad big blue eyes all covered with tears was a picture of sorrow to see kneeling close to the side of his pal and only pride a little lad, these words he told me".
