Dylan's Grandson Is Aspiring Rapper

Bob Dylan's teenage grandson is following the folk rock icon into music - he's launching himself as a rapper.

Pablo Dylan, the 15-year-old son of director Jesse, recently released his first mixtape, titled 10 Minutes, and he reveals he already has a fan in his legendary granddad.

He tells AllHipHop.com, "I consider him (Dylan) the Jay-Z of his time, and he definitely has a legacy that a lot of people look up to. He feels strongly about my music and I love him to death."

Pablo's music has also caught the ear of rising rapper Lil' Chuckee - a member of Lil Wayne's Young Money crew - and the pair has already recorded a duet, which will be released as his forthcoming single.

But the youngster hopes to draw attention for his music alone - and not because he's a Dylan descendant.

He says, "Of course we do two different things, and I don?t want people to see me for what he has done. But, what I have done... from a musical and personal standpoint is definitely influenced by him.

"Everyone around me influences me, and I have learned so much from him, just listening to his records."
