Bobby Brown secretly dated Madonna before finding long-term love with Whitney Houston, he reveals in his new autobiography.The R&B star claims he successfully seduced "half the industry" after moving on from teen band New Edition and finding success as a solo artist.And his tell-all book Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But..., insists no one was immune to his charms, even the Material Girl.He writes, "By the time I reached my third single on the Don't Be Cruel album, I was one of the biggest stars in the world. You know what that means.With success comes the women! A wise man once told me that. At this time, I probably had dated half of the industry, including Madonna."I met Madonna early in my career. She used to open up shows for New Edition in New York at the beginning of her career, so running back into her and getting to know her better at the height of my success was like a reunion. The list goes on from the who's who to the flavor of the month".Houston this week (03Apr08) hit out at the book, that also reveals lurid claims about her drug habits and sexuality.Her spokesperson said, "Miss Houston is sad that Bobby feels he needs to say such things, but she chooses to take the high road and will not speak badly about the father of her child, even if it's to set the record straight".

Yesterday Brown has confirmed he was unfaithful to his former wife Whitney Houston - admitting to a number of affairs throughout their 15-year marriage.

The couple's marriage was officially dissolved last year (07) but Brown fought to overturn the ruling in a bid to gain custody of their 15-year-old daughter Bobbi Christina and win spousal support. A judge dismissed his claims earlier this year (Jan08) after he failed to show up to a court hearing.

But now Brown has admitted their marriage was in trouble for a long time and he jeopardised their relationship by cheating on his wife on numerous occasions.

He writes in his forthcoming autobiography, "I am guilty of sleeping with other women... Women are always throwing themselves at you. I'm only human, so I would make the mistake and bite the hook sometimes. I let the testosterone take over".
