Bobby Brown has pleaded not guilty to a charge of drink driving in California.
Whitney Houston's ex-husband was arraigned in a Van Nuys court on Monday morning (16Apr12), where he faced three misdemeanour counts for a DUI, driving on a suspended license and talking on his cellphone behind the wheel.
Brown did not appear in court for the hearing and his plea was entered by his lawyer, Tiffany Feder.
A pre-trial hearing was set for 16 May (12).
The My Prerogative singer was arrested on 26 March (12) after he faileda field sobriety test.
Brown was ordered by Commissioner Rebecca Owens to abstain from drinking alcohol until his next court date.
